It may seem counter intuitive, but scotch and curry are an amazing combination. The intense savory flavors in Curry are strong enough to stand up to the peaty, oaky character of scotch, resulting in a well-balanced, incredibly complex cocktail that’s both easy to make and very, very drinkable. You can take our word for it.
2 oz Scotch Sparkling Water
Fill a rocks glass with ice.
Add 2 oz scotch (I prefer a mid- to upper-middle grade scotch with a bit of peat smoke to it – no need to complicate a 30 year old single malt or anything like that!).
Add 3 blasts* Curry cocktail Spice.
Fill glass with sparkling water.
Put 4 or 5 drops of Curry Cocktail Spice on top of the cocktail.
Garnish with a lemon twist.
* a blast is a measurement describing one eyedropper of Cocktail Spice – approx 25 drops
